What runs on your device
Cracks, sounds, images and videos are all generated in your web browser. When you choose a screenshot to use behind the cracks, the image is read by your browser and is not uploaded to us or anyone else. Downloads are created on your device.
What is stored in your browser
- Settings such as your preferred trigger, damage level and effect toggles, and your light or dark theme, are saved in your browser's local storage.
- Your screenshot, if you choose one, is saved in your browser's IndexedDB storage so the prank still works after a reload. Use the Remove button next to the upload control, or clear your browser's site data, to delete it.

Information we receive
Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and produce aggregate traffic statistics. We do not use this to identify you. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
Cookies
The prank itself does not set cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in future, this policy will be updated first, and any consent required by law will be requested.
Children
The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
